Blick Business Blitz: Local success stories

Just a reminder about Local Success stories happening tonight at Blick Studios
John Elliott from Clements Coffee Chain, Paul McKeever from FRONT and Joel Simon from Flickerpix will be here to tell you their story, answer your questions and point you in the right direction.
This is a unique opportunity to talk with successful individuals who can give advice and inspire you as you grow your own business.
£500 prize
We are delighted to announce that thanks to a generous donation from Internet Sense there is £500 up for grabs at the end of Blick’s Business Blitz.
The money is for business development and will be awarded to the best pitch at our final event. To be in with a chance of winning the money you must attend 4 out of the 5 course events.
Friday 19th June - First Session, part B
Our first session, How to access funding & support and initiate business collaborations, went really well last Friday, so much so that we’re having a part B on Friday 19th June from 9.30 - 11.30am @ BLICK.

Digital Circle Event
Digital Circle are running a lunch time networking event on Friday which you are free to attend: Working group for Skills and Training. It will be from 12-2pm @ Invest NI. Visit the Digital Circle Website and check the calendar for information.
Course Information
Blick’s Business Blitz, funded by Belfast City Council and The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment’s Building Sustainable Prosperity Program, is a mix of evening workshops and clinic days to inspire creative start-ups and equip them to trade in an increasingly competitive market at home and abroad.
Aimed at SME’s in all creative sectors including: Digital Media & Design, Fashion & Textiles, TV, Film and Music the course will look at: How to access funding & support and initiate business collaborations

- Marketing and Export
- Innovation and Investment
- Brand building and Professional Pitching
The course is open to everyone in the creative industries dedicated to actively build and expanding their business; with a selection of expert business people as well as public sector bodies Blick’s Business Blitz hopes to tackle the nitty gritty of business development in the current economic climate.
